45cm EV Charger Canopy, LED Motion Solar Light, Weatherproof Cover

Protect your EV Charger with this Weather Canopy and High Quality Solar light. This downlight will illuminate your car charging point effectively and safely. Improve your charger installation by the addition of this Electric Vehicle Charger Cover which has been specifically designed to fix above your previously installed wall charger point to protect against the elements.

We have taken our most popular product, namely the 37cm Solar Light Canopy and made a product that will suit any installation. Widened to 45cm this is the perfect size to cover most chargers with either untethered cables wrapped around the charger body, or for tethered installations. We have also designed this new and larger product to be of heavier construction.

An improved and much larger Solar Light using 104 LED (massive 240 x 160mm panel) producing 520 Lumen and 6000 Kelvin colour temperature has been integrated into the cover to give adequate downlight around the charger area which will be triggered (PIR sensor) when you approach the area. The design ensures maximum charge assuming the lamp gets some sunshine in daylight hours, the hours of charge available at night will be dependent on this day charge. A powerful 2600mA rechargeable Li-ion battery is installed. This is replaceable. Installation is easy, install the light with supplied screws and fit separate canopy around light with 4 screws, a template is provided to mark hole positions (Screws provided).

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ORDERING: The 'Primary' colour is the main colour with the 'Secondary' colour being used for the outer edge, as shown in pictures. If you want same colour use both selections with same colour....thanks ! The cover is very thick for strength and is individually manufactured by 3d Printing Process, made to order in a selection of 3 colours. The outer edge is finished with a larger 'safe edge' which is offered in a contrasting colour.

The cover material used is a PETG polymer which resists colour fade from UV light and is fully frost resistant. The overall width of the canopy is 45cm with a weight inc. cover and light of 850g.

If your property has a weatherboard siding we can supply a stepped adapter to allow a neat install, at an extra cost.

Please keep in mind: you may see minor variation in otherwise identical pieces, their appearance is a result of the 3D printing process used to make them, and the tiny differences may be changes in texture or surface pattern, particularly on the back or bottom of a part. "Layer lines" will always be visible, but we do our best to minimise the irregularity in these patterns!
